The currently accepted scientific name for this plant is actually Ficus sinuata, formerly quercifolia, here’s the story… the Genus of Oak Trees is Quercus - which makes quercifolia translated from Latin means ‘foliage resembling that of oaks’ because these little String of Frogs have the leaf shape of an Oak Tree!

This plant is a creeping climber, forming long vines making them great in a hanging basket or planted as ground cover!

Light: Medium to bright indirect

WaterAlthough drought tolerant, do not allow your Ficus to dry out too much. In general, Ficus should be kept slightly moist during the growing season. Water when the top 2" of soil are dry. They do not like wet feet, so if 30 minutes after watering you see water in the saucer, pour it out.

Pets: TOXIC to pets!
