Baby's Necklace is prolific grower with flat, button-like leaves that surround the stems like beads on a string. Its minty green foliage has contrasting pink to red edges that intensify in direct sun. This variety can grow as a ground cover in frost-free areas, but it also looks fantastic trailing from a hanging basket. 'Baby's Necklace' is a hybrid of C. rupestris ssp. marnieriana x C. perforata ssp. kougaensis.
This plant stays fairly small (6"-12"+ tall) and has excellent drought and cold tolerance though prefers some sun protection. Crassulas usually grow in rocky quartz fields. Provide porous soil with adequate drainage.
Light: Bright, indoor light or filter sun/part-shade outdoors.
Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Water with caution in winter, as the plant can lose its roots if the soil stays cold and wet for extended periods; protect from frost to prevent scarring.
Ships BARE ROOT - have a 6" pot and well-draining soil ready!
