Sempervivum ("Semps") are known by the common name 'Hens & Chicks' because the mother 'hen' plant produces new offsets or "chicks" on stolons which can be left to produce clusters or removed to share and transplant. These are frost-tolerant succulents that will add a beautiful pop color to any garden or patio planter!
Semps need plenty of outdoor sunlight to show their best colors and maintain a tight rosette form. They do best in chunky, well-draining soil and pots with drainage holes.
Chick Charms are trademarked collectable Sempervivum cultivars! Collect them all!
