Dischidia major are unique plant! Some of their leaves are modified, offering accommodation to ants, and in return gain some sustenance from increased carbon dioxide and nitrogen levels, and a degree of protection from noxious animals and plants - so cool, right?
These plants are epiphytes, which means that they grow on trees in nature. Because of this, you should never plant Dischidia in normal potting soil!
Dischidia prefers filtered sunlight, or at the bare minimum, bright indirect light. Some direct sun is perfectly fine. But take care not to place this plant in a location that has too many hours of direct sun.

Pets: Non-toxic, pet friendly!
