Although people sometimes call it a cactus because of the thorns, it is actually a member of the Euphorbia family, not the cactus family. Euphorbias produces a milky sap when injured or broken, making it unpalatable to pests and harmful to children and pets.
Light: Bright indirect (bright shade). A bit of direct sun in the morning is ok but harsh sun or all day sun will usually cause it to scorch.
Water: Water well when soil is completely dry, even less in winter. Growing season is Spring/Summer.
Pets: TOXIC
