Air plants are easy to maintain, even for those without a green thumb! They need no soil to survive making them simple to display!
Air plants are in the genus Tillandsia. There are more than 600 different varieties and they are most prevalent growing wild in the West Indies, Central America, and South America. A couple species can be found here in Florida! Did you know that Spanish moss is an air plant?! It is!
Tillandsia are epiphytes (like orchids), which means they attach themselves to other objects like trees and rocks, but are not parasites and do not feed off or harm what they mount themselves to.
Because air plants do not have a traditional root system and do not require soil to flourish, they can be mounted or placed upon on almost anything you choose, like driftwood, shells, rocks, even glass globes. Or you can simply set them on a shelf to enjoy.
Monthly air plants will be ready for pick up at our shop by the second Friday of each month. Display them individually, combine several together for a beautiful, unique arrangement or gift them to family and friends!
WHEN DOES IT EXPIRE? You will receive a different air plant each month for 12 months. If you'd like to continue receiving a new air plant each month, simply rejoin the Club. There will not be any repeat plants for at least 24 months!
And don't worry - there are no recurring charges so you don't have to remember to cancel!
